Time-lapse sequential quantitative single-cell proteomic analysis method.
Summary: A method has been developed for the analysis of the whole proteome of a single cell selected within a population or cells isolated at a given stages of development, in such a way that it will allow the comparative analysis within different cells or cloned cells at different stages of development or transformation.
This method is based on the bulk quantification of the whole proteome of a single cell at a given point in time of its development/transformation with a new and sensitive technology, so that all the components of the proteome could be spoted, even if they have not previously been identified. The sequential snapshots of the proteome obtained at different times/stages (time-lapse sequencing) could give new insights on the development/transformation processes of any type of cell.
